Software Development Engineer 3 (Remote)

We are seeking a Software Engineer 3 to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Austin, TX.

As a Software Engineer 3 you will be designing and developing software solutions that align with user needs and business requirements in an innovative and dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and develop software solutions with a broad understanding of technology and business operations.
• Engage in full-stack development, working on both front-end user interfaces and backend systems.
• Analyze user requirements and make informed decisions within a structured framework.
• Lead and support projects of moderate complexity, contributing to the development of system components.
• Ensure quality standards are met with minimal need for revisions.
• Review and contribute to functional specifications and other technical documentation.
• Mentor and assist in the onboarding of new Associate Software Engineers.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and regulatory expectations.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in developing software for Microsoft Windows environments.
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• 5 plus years of experience with C# programming and SQL databases
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and life cycle.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $89,300.00 - $148,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
