As a member of the EMEA Talent Acquisition Team, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers in assigned business areas/departments in Northen Europe to support hiring goals effectively and ensure they are achieved. 

The Sr. TA Specialist will recruit professionals at various levels with skill sets that fall within (but not limited to)Sales, Management Consulting, Data Analytics, Real World Evidence, IT & Technology, etc.


  • Partner with hiring managers in assigned business areas to source, select and hire qualified candidates at a variety of levels

  • Leverage creative tactics and a variety of sources (including direct search, LinkedIn and other social media, internal referrals, direct applicants, recruitment agencies, etc.) to deliver top talents to fill open positions across designated geography

  • Manage the recruitment process end-to-end, providing support and delivering a superior experience for all candidates progressing through the hiring process, including extending and closing offers

  • Develop a direct sourcing strategy to build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline

  • Provide training to hiring managers on recruiting, interviewing, and the selection process as required

  • Suggest process improvement initiatives to streamline hiring process

  • Work with the TA Manager to deploy the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) at local level in order to increase brand awareness in the local job market and position IQVIA as an employer of choice

  • Work internally with other Talent Acquisition team members to share knowledge, best practices and resources

  • May support recruitment in other EMEA countries when needed based on hiring demand

  • Keep abreast of market trends in the assigned geography that may impact on the company’s ability to attract talents and work with the business to provide solutions

  • Keep up to date of the new digital trends and available solutions in recruitment space

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong hands-on recruitment experience (5+ years), whether in agency or in-house, that includes supporting global fast-paced organizations with the talent acquisition of junior and mid-senior professional profiles.

  • Experience of Technology/Consulting recruiting is highly desirable

  • Significant direct sourcing experience, including the use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships up to a senior level to influence and positively challenge existing thinking

  • Fluent in English  and Dutch with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience using Applicant Tracking/ CRM Systems (e.g. Workday, Taleo, SuccessFactors etc.) is essential

  • Demonstrating (internal) customer-oriented mindset and “make it happen” mentality

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan routine activities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience of working by objectives and to a range of recruitment related KPIs

  • Good understanding and awareness of the market trends

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective remote working relationships and collaborative attitude with TA colleagues and management.

  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications
