Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for driving commercial revenues across key accounts with regional headquarters based in Singapore and across Southeast Asia

  • Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing Customers/Accounts

  • Actively network in the industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan for each target account and lead the quarterly strategic account review meeting for the respective account

  • Collaborate closely with the delivery teams for client engagement and quality project delivery

  • Engage with client’s senior leadership on a regular basis

  • Derive a strong understanding of the client’s needs and challenges

  • Be up to date on industry trends and dynamics

  • Ensure appropriate strategy/solution is proposed to customer

  • Monitor actions and results against plans

  • Lead the sales process; prepare and lead the sales presentation

  • Coordinate with contracts/proposals to develop proposal

  • Handle follow-up related to the sale and drive completion of contractual documents

  • Monitor customer satisfaction by communicating regularly with customer

  • Plan and coordinate all customer sales activities

  • Report all sales related activities in CRM system

  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and offering teams at IQVIA


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or related discipline

  • Minimum of 8 years of account management/ business development experience, preferably with experience in selling services and solutions

  • Solid understanding of commercial aspects within Pharma including product launch, commercial excellence, business analytics, omnichannel engagement etc

  • Knowledge of the Pharma/ Medtech market

  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook, and Internet)

  • Excellent understanding of business and Industry trends and ability to interpret the trends relevant to the business

  • Ability to engage clients at all levels

  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent analytical and research skills

  • Must be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain demanding timelines

  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
