US Healthcare Alliance Lead

IQVIA’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Healthcare & MedTech team is looking for a US Healthcare Alliance Lead to drive the development and launch of our US Healthcare Analytics Network (IHAN) of Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) for AI and advanced analytics solution deployment at scale. This is a new opportunity within our AI team to play a strategic role in building a network of HCOs who share a passion for improving the quality of care for patients and clinicians using AI-driven data insights deployed at the point of care and beyond.
Our ideal team member has a strong background in healthcare, and experience in building customer relationships. The US Healthcare Alliance Lead is directly responsible for leading operational activities associated with building the network from identification and outreach through contracting and beyond, including liaising with established network membership. The ideal candidate demonstrates successful experience with the following:
Identification of potential partners
- Identify and analyze potential targets for strategic partnerships with aggregators (ex. HIEs, EMR vendors, Population Health)
- Profile potential partners, including offerings, capabilities, geographies, competitor relationships and inform leadership with recommendations.
Network planning:
- Lead business case preparation activities in support of program strategy development and planning.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on aligned strategy and deliver regular program status reports
Network development:
- Identify HCOs for proactive outreach for participation in IQVIA Healthcare Analytics Network
- Provide strategic input into value proposition and other terms of network participation that contribute to scale.
- Manage all aspects of the contracting lifecycle including appropriate coordination with IQVIA Legal and / or Corporate Development teams, proper management of IP obligations, etc.
Network management:
- Primary responsibility for communications between the IQVIA AI team and membership of the IQVIA Healthcare Analytics Network to deliver the highest quality member experience
- Manage and cultivate member relationships to support network participation, knowledge sharing and member retention
We’re looking for the following skills and abilities:
- Strategic mindset, strong relationship building and negotiating skills
- Extensive healthcare/provider industry knowledge, including technology trends and vendors in the space (through tenure at multiple HCOs and/or organizations offering population health/analytics offerings to HCOs)
- Acute understanding of HCOs’ incentives, as it relates to population health, value-based contracting, HEDIS metrics and Medicare Shared Savings Programs. This includes deep knowledge in performance metrics for various CMS quality programs including Medicare Advantage and Accountable Care Organizations.
- Ability to lead and support Business Development discussions to scope relevant client solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to varying levels of leadership
- Ability to support business case activities as it relates to building technology and data capabilities through strategic partnerships
Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Health care or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent
- 7+ years relevant industry experience, including building technology or data partnerships in the context of clinical research and/or healthcare
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a partnership or alliance management role, with successful track record in that role
- 2+ years demonstrated experience leading cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on a specific goal or in initiative
