The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) is a telesales role.  This VSR will have responsibilities in a variety of Sales, Customer Service and Sales Support functions. The selected candidate will place approximately  calls each day to order to schedule and conduct product presentations to a designated market to achieve product awareness, educate the market and generate prescriptions. In addition, the selected individual will occasionally support the field sales force in areas that may include retail stocking, convention follow-up and direct mail campaign follow-up.

  • Generate inside sales in line with assigned Client’s promotional program
  • Achieve daily sales call activity/client deliverables by gaining access virtually to prescribing decision makers and influencing purchasing decisions
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target prescriber profiles
  • Keep current with knowledge and understanding of all assigned products, disease states, treatment and market knowledge and competitive products
  • Maintain a professional image for Client and Client products
  • Participate in all required training and sales meetings
  • Make complete, accurate and timely submission of all time-keeping, details, call activity, expense reports, and sample activity when applicable
  • Have appropriate interaction with co-promotional partners or counterparts, if applicable
  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of healthcare sales experience, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, long term care sales, OTC sales, laboratory, or medical equipment direct sales
  • Strong presentations skills virtually
  • Telesales experience, especially in the healthcare field is desired
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently analyze, plan, prioritize, execute, and exceed sales goals
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, teamwork, organization and workload planning skills
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and effectively communicate within different levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and computer skills essential
