The Solutions Sales Specialist will develop new business for specific products specialties, providing the product expertise and sales acumen to identify & qualify revenue opportunities, proactively manage the product presentation and selling process, and close the sale in both existing and new accounts.

In this hybrid sales/expert role within the Sales department, the sales specialist becomes an expert in our offers and solutions based on "patient data" (At pharmacy, EMRS or oncology specific databases) but also on the quantitative/qualitative analysis of the pharmaceutical industry's promotional activity and ad hoc studies.

In collaboration with all aligned teams (KAM, Principal Consulting), the sales specialist acts in an account plan perspective in order to maintain and develop the turnover. He maintains and develops relationships with clients, being attentive to their needs/ satisfaction and promoting proactively the IQVIA solutions he represents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieves growth & revenue targets for assigned product through a consultative sales approach that addresses client business needs
  • Proactively strengthens in depth knowledge of products/ solutions and its application within a client’s perspective
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the relevance of the proposed solutions and by following up on the projects carried out for them, by relying on its own skills and those of the competent teams within IQVIA
  • Contribute on account planning strategy as it relates to assigned product area to target and validate opportunities for assigned customers / territory
  • Interfaces with customer at all levels and be in constant contact with customers to anticipate their needs and respond quickly to their expectations
  • Creates and presents client proposals that result in winning sales
  • Seeks “starburst” opportunities within existing customers to grow revenue opportunities across the IQVIA suite of offerings and conquer new clients
  • Gathers market and client intelligence and provides strategic feedback to Marketing, Consulting, Service, and Sales to strengthen or product offerings and capture additional business

 Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Master Degree in business or scientific, you have expertise in pharma or in service companies intended for marketing functions or laboratory studies
  • Sales experience or strong sales acumen
  • Demonstrable experience of target achievement
  • Examples of consultative sales approach solving client business issues
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and related businesses
  • Knowledge of one or more IQVIA specialty products and the impact that the product can achieve when implemented within a client’s business processes and related businesses will be useful
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency, and can work both independently and within a team environment
  • Developing positive relationships at all levels of client management and within the IQVIA sales, consulting and marketing teams
  • Fluent in both French and English is required.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical market-related analytics and information solutions/consulting services.
