Associate Sales Director, Virtual Meetings - Spain

This role is part of our EMEA Technology and Solutions business unit.


Manages the activities related to the management of individual sales contributors for a geographic area, industry, or market segment.

Essential Functions
• Manages sales directly to end-users IQVIA Health's Virtual Meetings services in a large specified geographic area, or is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis.
• Responsible for managing individual sales contributors for geographic area, industry, or market segment.
• Accountable for attracting new producers and developing and training sales reps in prospecting and business development.
• Responsible for developing and implementing sales programs.
• Responsible for achieving specific revenue targets
• Responsible for projecting and establishing annual revenue quotas.
• Establishes sales methodologies.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of sales leadership and direct field sales experience
• Master's Degree with 8 years of experience Req Or Ph.D. with 5 years of experience Req
• Background in M&E for the life sciences industry or experience with marketing and communication management towards HCPs
• A talented presenter that is able to communicated convincingly and cconfidently
• Have a well-developed network of contacts within the life sciences Industry (marketing, sci comms, events, omnichannel and training).
• Have a good understanding of how virtual meetings platforms and broadcasting work and how they generate value for clients
• Able to hold elaborate discussions with multidisciplinary teams and be able to foresee needs, evaluate gaps and find opportunities that can be addressed by our offerings
• See the bigger picture and you are able to combine agendas of different stakeholders and brands within one customer in order to position IQVIA as a strategic partner
• Service minded having a can do attitude that translates challenges to oopportunities
• Able to build and maintain long standing relationships with customers
