Role Summary:

  • Work as an individual contributor or lead a team of consultants / Analysts in delivering commercial analytics projects, specifically marketing mix, customer and brand performance analytics project,
  • Support and provide guidance to team on Management Dashboards, Performance review decks, Storytelling using data, Data consolidation, BI Analytics and Reporting (notification of data or results through excel or any visualization tool), Metrics and KPI reporting across MCM, Web and iPad domain
  • Provide technical and business leadership / mentorship to junior team members, groom them for additional responsibilities
  • Interact and communicate with internal business stakeholders in different Business Units and external clients to gather project background, business requirements and end objective
  • Support development and analytics activities


  • Advice, Partner & Support clients / IQVIA counterparts in business units on using analytics to solve business problems. Lead a team to execute and implement projects like
    • Campaign level performance analytics and reporting across digital and social channels
    • Mass email and subject line analytics and reporting
    • Veeva (1:1) email analytics and reporting (also includes email to web, deep link analytics and reporting as well)
    • Customer analytics, channel mix analysis and reporting
    • Website analytics and reporting (e.g., GSK Pro visitor/unique visitor, audience reports, virtual meeting hub reports etc.)
    • iPad analytics and reporting
    • Video analytics and reporting
    • MCM integrated sales data and rep analytics
    • Pharma leadership (Strategic and OPS) KPIs reporting
    • Data manipulation, analysis, and reporting of large volume of sales and Physician level datasets
    • To streamline, standardize and automate the bespoke reports into dashboards (consolidate ask to bring in consistency and to avoid duplicate reports or dashboards
  • Proactively communicate, internally and externally with business counterparts or clients, ensuring that any issues / concerns are handled in a timely manner
  • Lead client communication, value added service to the clients by thinking out of box and going beyond call of duty
  • Ensure Continuous improvement by driving delivery excellence and building team’s capabilities
  • Assist the senior management in Opportunity identification / POC creation / Proposal for client
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as well as an individual
  • Proper documentation of all the project related activities

Must-have skills:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Statistics / Operations Research / Mathematics / Data Mining

B. Tech / MBA with relevant experience

M.Phil or Ph.D in data science

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics using the following skills:
    • Proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel and Power Point. Experience in Excel VBA or other dashboarding technologies is a plus
    • Proficiency in base SAS, R, Python and SQL
  • Strong pharma domain knowledge​
  • Expertise in data visualization and synthesis​
  • Familiarity with Pharma data ​
  • Business Acumen (e.g., MCM, web analytics, social media)​
  • Adobe analytics data (or knowledge on any such other systems e.g., google analytics 360 or salesforce Einstein, Gigya, Veeva)​
  • Segmentation & Targeting​
  • Knowledge of Azure (blob, data bricks and SQL storage)​
  • Knowledge of local sources (CCI)​
  •  Strong Power BI and advanced SQL ​
  • Statistical Modelling/Time Series or Econometrics Modeling/Machine learning​
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and logical reasoning skills; comfort with large and complex datasets

Good to have skills:

  • Familiar with pharmaceutical domain, concepts, and terminologies, understanding of broader healthcare market dynamics (broad themes/latest trends in the pharma industry etc.)
  • Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated
  • Analytical techniques like regression (linear & logistic), PCA, Factor analysis, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees, Random Forest and Time Series analysis
