Role Summary

Operational Responsibilities

  • Understand and Execute client requests and deliverables
  • Have a good understanding/knowledge of pricing, market access and IQVIA data/tools
  • Perform extensive desk research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity
  • Extract data from IQVIA data sources and conduct quantitative analysis
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for the client
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative data
  • Use triangulation technique
  • Create storyboards and produce high quality client-ready presentations*
  • Undertake market analysis to include details on the market characteristics (market access: access/funding/procurement pathway, formulary / reimbursement/ tendering status, payer value drivers for access for new drugs to support formulary inclusion, market trends, market attractiveness; competitor characteristics: product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, pricing analysis)
  • Work with minimal supervision or independently on defined tasks with 100% ownership on outcomes and timelines*
  • Lead module(s) of the project and provide support to the overall project lead*
  • Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions to develop project methodology and recommendations*
  • Willingness to work as a dedicated FTE for pricing and market access projects

  • Support business development (proposal creation etc.), knowledge management, quality and process improvement and other internal initiatives
  • Proactively comply with the training norms and stay up to date with the latest market trends
  • Eager to learn and able to deliver quality reports within the stipulated timelines

  • Show active involvement on new concepts/products/innovations from the team

Must-have skills:

  • Excellent Team  player and clear communication
  • Should be able to scope, execute and deliver high quality timely projects
  • Should have some knowledge in life-sciences/pharma/Healthcare. Degree with an interest in Market Research, Pharmacy/ life sciences, Health Technology, Market Access in developed and emerging markets
  • Previous work experience of 2 to 6 years in client-facing roles in consultancy and market research. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with experience in carrying out market research projects in the pharmaceutical area at an international/cross-country level
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • High skills of interpretation and analysis (quantitative, qualitative and integration of different sources of data assets) - This would include thinking through the client business issue, adding the right context to the request (therapy area, business issue etc) and developing a tailored, innovative solution to address the clients’ business objectives
  • Understanding clients’ business needs and research objectives and writes complex, creative proposals that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the clients’ needs and which differentiate IQVIA's capabilities
  • The preferred candidate will be creative, client/objective focused, open minded, autonomous and at the same time have great team spirit

Good to have skills:

  • Good to have knowledge in policies, techniques and tools to research and analyze pricing and market access (pricing insights, HTAA, MIDAS, International Reference Price (IRP), Parallel Trade, inflation, generic impact modelling, Tendering and contracting insights,  country specific pricing insights and analytics etc. )
  • Understanding of the pharma analytics (biosimilars, orphan drugs, new drug analysis)
  • Understanding of IQVIA and other datasets such as LAAD, FIA, Xponent
  • Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with
    • Experience in designing/ developing analytics solutions - articulate client issue to a workable solution and delivering it
    • Good understanding of IQVIA data and products
    • Dashboarding skillsets
