Role Summary:
• Work as an individual contributor
• Support Segmentation & Targeting, Activity Planning, Territory Alignment, Resource Planning, Execution & Monitoring, Impact Assessment, Salesforce bonus administration, CRM Administration
• Support formulation of mathematical/statistical/econometric models to solve business problems specifically marketing mix, customer and brand performance analytics projects
• Interact and communicate with internal business counterparts in different Business Units and external clients to gather project background, business requirements and end objective
• Support development and Field analytics activities
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently and efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
• Ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
• Able to support Management Dashboards , Performance review decks , Territory alignment maps and files , Storytelling, BI Reporting, Bespoke Excel Reporting, Sales KPI reporting & analyses, Data Modelling for Ingestion Pipelines, ETL and Azure Data lake additions, CI/CD pipeline creation, Consultancy Approach, Business Partnering
• Develop a good understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases, and analytical approaches to effectively guide and support client-facing IQVIA counterparts across globe mainly in Europe and US
• Present findings and recommendations to counterparts in business point of view
• Handle small and large projects independently / with project lead and help the team in building solutions for various business problems
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving ability with demonstrated hands-on work experience in analytics
• Should be a quick learner and open for new technologies. Should pick up domain knowledge and relevant technical skills quickly
• Work independently on defined tasks with 100% ownership on outcomes and timelines
• Clearly communicate project outputs and identified risks to concern project team
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as well as an individual
• Proper documentation of all the project related activities
Must-have skills:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics / Econometrics / Statistics / Operations Research / Mathematics / Data Mining OR B. Tech / MBA with relevant experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience in analytics using the following skills:
o Proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel and Power Point. Experience in Excel VBA or other dashboarding technologies is a plus
o Proficiency in base SAS, R, Python and SQL
• Strong pharma domain knowledge
• Expertise in data visualization and synthesis
• Familiarity with Pharma data

• Familiarity with Pharma data (eg IQVIA data sets)
• Business Acumen (eg understanding of
• segmentation)
• Pharmaceutical sales force sizing

• Strong MS Excel and Power BI skills, medium level MS Access/SQL skill
• PowerPoint / Storyboarding
• Statistical Modelling - Pooled Regression, Time Series Modelling, Clustering, Hypothesis Testing
• Strong quantitative, analytical and logical reasoning skills; comfort with large and complex dataset
Good to have skills:
• Familiar with pharmaceutical domain, concepts, and terminologies, understanding of broader healthcare market dynamics (broad themes/latest trends in the pharma industry etc.)
• Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated
• Analytical techniques like regression (linear & logistic), PCA, Factor analysis, Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees, Random Forest and Time Series analysis
